The sixth edition of the Découvertes exhibition, organized annually by the LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery, will take place from July 10 to August 31, 2024. This annual event is an opportunity to spotlight the encounters between promising artists and the Gallery, thus offering a platform for emerging creators for the sixth consecutive year.
The Gallery is pleased to present to its audience the work of four artists: Juju Lago, Claire Marboeuf, Klervie Mouho, and Ismael Tamek. Whether Ivorian or residing in Côte d'Ivoire, they are distinguished by their ability to elevate their daily lives, immersing themselves in an environment that sometimes challenges and shakes their beliefs. Their work serves as a shield, a tool of adaptation, and a favored medium for telling the story of "their" Côte d'Ivoire.
